OSCAR (On-line System for Control Analysis and Reporting) is a PC-based software solution designed to provide users with the capability to analyze assembly, test and verification-in-process data. By using OSCAR as a toolset, continuous improvement efforts can be implemented quickly and efficiently. Advanced Technology & Testing engineers OSCAR tools to serve a wide spectrum of factory floor personnel ranging from machine operators to process engineers. OSCAR analyzes data gathered from a range of control equipment to provide real-time decision support information and also utilizes powerful industry standard databases to provide a rich warehouse of data to satisfy the most challenging problem solving requests.

Numerous benefits arise from using OSCAR:
• OSCAR is delivered as a solution, not a box of software. We analyze the requirements, design and implement a solution, train your staff, and provide ongoing support.
• New reports and displays easily configured by local staff reduce life cycle costs and the dependence on outside support.
• OSCAR retrieves data from a wide range of devices, and keys the information to the manufacturing process to provide complete traceability from beginning to end of the process.
• Simple displays allow analysis to be performed in real-time by factory floor personnel, significantly reducing the reaction time to problems.
• OSCAR provides an integrated set of tools to standardize the look and feel of reporting to eliminate confusion and improve efficiency.

OSCAR includes modules that provide:
• Real-time data acquisition from intelligent devices, processes and manual inputs
• Real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC/SQC)
• Real-time production status and WIP monitoring and control
• Part and Component tracking and traceability
• Interface between MRP II systems and process controls to implement and manage production and scheduling
• Configuration management for process set-points and limits
• Automated data archiving facilities to CD-ROM libraries
