Assembly & Test Worldwide (ATW) has a long history of performing leak tests in a range of industries, including the medical, automotive, and the consumer products industries. ATW has long been recognized as a leader in the design and application of leak testing equipment for products both large and small in size.
Assembly & Test Worldwide (ATW) provides leak testing systems that are capable of identifying a wide range of defects including: gross and fine cavity leaks, casting porosity, cavity-to-cavity leaks, core shifts, die casting errors, machining errors, and component integrity. Additional benefits of ATW’s leak testing equipment are seal designs that provide a longer seal life, tool designs that produce repeatable test results, and versatile test methods that are able to change with applications.
In 30+ years of leak testing ATW has designed and manufactured solutions to more than 400 leak test applications. Over the years there have been more than 150 leak test stations/systems installed for powertrain applications, as well as over 200 Helium Mass Spectrometer leak tests for consumer products and medical device applications.
ATW has extensive experience with many forms of leak testing including Pressure Decay, Mass Flow, Differential Pressure, Vacuum Flow, and Mass Spectrometer. Drawing from our knowledge and experience ATW customizes a design that best fits the needs of a project, utilizing either commercial or in house instrumentation. As the demand for efficiency and testing grows so does ATW’s capabilities, offering state-of-the-art PC-based leak test controllers and flexible pneumatic circuit designs. Through these applications ATW continues to lead the market in terms of design and application of leak testing equipment.
